Xabier Erkizia (Lesaka, 1975)
Musician, producer and journalist. He has dedicated the last 20 years to sound creation, giving importance above all to music, research, sound design and listening culture. Results of this work are his numerous sound installations, free improvisations, experimental rock, film soundtracks, radio works and essays written, in different fields and with different supports, individually or collaborating with different international artists.

 

Lorena Rocca (Padova, 1966)
Geographer, pedagogist and professor of human geography and didactics of geography at SUPSI and the University of Padua. She has taught geography teaching at the Universities of Caxias Do Sul (BR) and Würzburg (D). He has also coordinated international research teams for the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei on the themes of participation and education, collecting the results in numerous international publications.

 

Hillel Schwartz (Chicago, 1948)
Cultural historian, poet, and translator.  As an historian, he is best known for studies of sound (Making Noise: From Babel to the Big Bang, and Beyond, 2011), of replication (The Culture of the Copy: Striking Likenesses, Unreasonable Facsimiles, 1996 and 2014) and of dieting (Never Satisfied: A Cultural History of Diets, Fantasies, and Fat, 1986). Schwartz is an independent scholar but has taught occasionally in departments of history, literature, religious studies, communication, and visual arts, most recently at University of California, San Diego.

 

Franco Farinelli (Ortona, 1948)
Geographer, writer, president of the Association of Italian Geographers, he is full professor of geography at the University of Bologna, Director of the Department of Philosophy and Communication Sciences, president of the master’s degree course in Geography and Territorial Processes at the same university. He has taught geography at the Universities of Geneva, Los Angeles (UCLA), Berkeley (UCB), the Sorbonne in Paris and the Nordic Institute for Urban and Regional Planning in Stockholm. He is a member of the Editorial Board of important international magazines such as Le Globe, Rivista Geografica Italiana, Ecumene and Cahiers de Géographie du Quebec.
